A blogging friend of mine Carol is having a contest for some awesome scrap booking stuff. So I thought I would play along too. :) I am really into scrap booking, making cards, and really anything to do with paper. I really love *altering* things especially tins, boxes, and making collages for pictures. This picture is where I do all of my crafting. I use to have an entire room for my craft stuff but in my little home now it is just two bedrooms. Maybe next year we will have three bedrooms again. I can only hope. I also have a shelf on the left side of my desk that has my paper, paint, and stamps on it. So I am happy to just go in my bedroom light some good smelling candles and just *be*. Now if I can talk Jeff in putting the stereo in there for me. Ha!

Aren't we just the cutest couple? I think so! We are so happy together. I hope to keep my blog updated from now on. I am hoping to get him blogging too. We are such computer geeks. Ha!

As you can tell I got a new digital camera. I am very happy with it, it is a Sony. Not sure of the kind besides the name but it rocks. So be forewarned I will be taking LOTS of pictures!

Not too much else has been going on. Just scrap booking some, enjoy the end of the summer yard sales (finding good finds, I might add). And just enjoying the family life. Amber has been doing great in school, she in now in the Jr. Beta Club. I am so proud of her. Well hopefully I can keep up better and maybe soon start a Flickr account for my pictures.

Wow where does the time go?

I have been *super* busy with Amber's 10th birthday party (last weekend), getting stuff ready for a yard sale for next weekend and in between working and cleaning. Amber had a pretty good birthday last weekend, she got quite a bit of money, clothes and girly stuff (lipstick,bath stuff etc). We decided on taking her and her three friends to the mall to shop in the Build-a-Bear workshop. Amber hasn't been in a long time and that is what she wanted to do with her friends. They each stuffed a bear (1 got a doggie) and two of them had enough money for clothes. And Amber spent just about ALL her birthday money in this store. I couldn't believe it. But she was happy and the girls were too. They spent the night and stayed up late, the usual girl sleepover stuff. They did end up put shaving cream on one of the girl's face. That was hilarious, I wished they would of woke me up for that (would love a pic). LOL.

I have been having a rough time for the past week, Lynn has had Amber since last Monday and yes he did get to have her on her *real* birthday (the 16th) but I sucked it up since it was his weekend to have her. Plus today is Father's Day too. I will get her back in the morning, so I am taking the day off to be with her. :) We may end up going to the library, maybe getting some ice cream or something, just Mom and daughter time. I enjoy that.

Things with Jeff are going wonderful! He is working alot so I miss him too :(. He really is a great guy. Pss I am trying to get him to start blogging ;). I know I have been bad in not blogging but I have been reading everyone's blog and *trying* to comment. I miss you guys, you are all such good friends to me. I hope to develop my 10 disposable cameras (no I am not kidding) soon to share pictures of us with you all. I just have been low on money but have them all together to take soon to Walmart to develop. Okay guys I am off to read blogs, I hope you are all doing well. Love me.

Yes you all heard that right! I know I haven't posted in a *very* long time but alot has been going on in my life. I have met a wonderful guy named Jeff. He has my heart. <3 I am not sure if he is okay with me going into detail about him here so I will have to just go with basic stuff for you all now. He is almost 32, korean, a really sweet and awesome guy. And above all he makes me laugh, big belly laughs. :) And Amber adores him also.
We had a great Christmas! Amber got alot of fun stuff from Santa but her favorite thing by far was the Nintendo DS..it is pink. I went to my Mom's on Christmas Eve, we had a really great time and yummy food. It was really nice this year. I haven't been this happy in a very long time.
New Year's was spent with my friend Jessica and my bf Jeff. We watched the peach fall, drank some wine and wore silly New Year's hats that we got crafty with. Hopefully soon I will have pictures to share with you all. haha. Fun stuff. But that is what is going on in my life and it feels soooo good. So Happy New Year everyone! I hope to start updating again. Smacks hand:::

Happy Holidays everyone!

I know I have been mia for almost a month now but it has been a hard road to take but guess what I am A-OK. I am completely over my ass of a husband and can't wait for the divorce to be final. I had found out some awful things about him. He is living with a woman he works with and has been basically dating her for a while now. That makes me sick to my stomach still not because of the love I had for him but wondering how any one could do that and still sleep with his wife. It really messes with me a bit. But enough of that. Amber and I are all moved into our new home and LOVE it. We are so happy here. I have been very busy with Christmas shopping, enjoying Amber, decorating and spending time with my friend Jessica. We hang out every other weekend when Amber is with her Dad. Fun times. It is nice to have a friend to do things with. My whole mind set has changed and my life has changed and guess what. It is for the better. I am happy once again. Feel so good. I have lost 30 lbs and still losing. Eating healthy and walking. My life is looking pretty good right now despite the recent turmoil. I am looking at it now that we weren't meant to be and the only good thing that came from our marriage was Amber. SHE is my life. And my life is going on and hers is too. So that is my update for now. Maybe I will have more good news to share soon. ;) I wish you all the best for a safe and happy Holiday!

Update on Amber and me..

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We did. Yesterday we traveled with my Mom up to see my Grandma (her Mom). Grandma had cooked a turkey breast, fried okra, potato salad, deviled eggs, dressing, green beans and Amber's favorite pecan pie. Yum. We had a good visit and enjoyed being there with her. I wanted to shop today but :( having no money sucks. Yall pray for me that I can finish up my shopping if u know who I am talking about :) I worry about *her*.

I will be in my new place a week from today. I am excited! Walking to work is a wonderful thing. :) Then I will be busy getting all of our stuff decorating and for Christmas. So I will be VERY busy. But we are fine, getting by. And having more good days than bad. I know I will have bad days too but I pray about it and get through them. I wanted to update you all about mine and Amber's situation. I know alot of you have been wondering and concerned. We appreciate all of your prayers and thoughts. It has been a rough two weeks since Lynn told me that he didn't want to be with me. But you know we deserve to be happy and a family so Amber and I will do this. We are strong but furthermore I am a *strong* woman and when there is a will there is a way. I found a place for us that we will *hopefully* be there renting on the 1st of December. I put my deposit on a duplex that is 2 bedrooms/1 bath. I will sign papers on Monday more than likely. Just keep saying prayers because I worry about paying the deposits for the new utility company we will be using and having the first month's rent ready for them. If I don't receive money from Lynn in December for child support I will find a lawyer to use. I am very suprised at how he is handling this whole seperation thing but then again I *always* knew he was selfish, HE was bringing me down, my moods were bad at home because I felt like he didn't love me or want to be a family doing *normal* family things. He has ALOT of growing up to do and I wish him the best of luck. Sorry for my little rant, things do still hurt me and for now my heart is on a shelf, it has been broken into tiny pieces and I feel very rejected. But these feelings I know WILL pass. I am STRONG. I BELIEVE that good overcomes the bad things in our life. This is just a big change in our life and it will be a good change. I am already BLESSED to of found a duplex in my price range, and it is right across the street from the hospital where I work. How much more lucky can I be? :) I won't have to drive to work, I can go home and eat lunch. There is so much positivity in my life right now. And my friends I know with your strength, love and faith WE WILL be A-O.K.

But I am strong and me and Amber WILL get through this. Just say prayers for us. We need them so much. Lynn will be leaving tonight and getting most of his things tomorrow. I will hopefully be able to stay in the house *maybe* until the first of the year. I really want to find some place to live before then. I just can't get over how calm he is, it is quite scary almost. My Mom is very upset and doesn't understand. I just hate it so for Amber. Lynn told me we are different people now and have been for a while and the love he felt for me is gone. I deserve so much better.

I know I have been a downer for a while now and I really miss all of my friends. :*( I could use alot of hugs and cheering up right now. Lynn told me yesterday he thinks we should both go seperate ways. He is confused once again like last time but this time I won't make excuses for him staying. I did tell him he broke my heart, once again. And if he leaves he can NEVER come back to me. We will only see each other for Amber's sake. I am crushed and have tried not to cry at work but the tears just fall from disappointment and my heart just aches. I know we have been distant lately and I just really chalked that all up to him working so much. But now I know the *real* reason. As many of you know this happened a few years back too and silly me took him back because he told me he could change. Yea right.
Why do I have to love such a selfish man? One that never really does anything at home. He complains when I ask for a little help around the house. He says I am negative all the time but doesn't see the real problem. It is HIM. His attitude affects me in a negative way. I see so many happy couples and think why can't that be me. Yes I know life isn't a bowl of cherries but is it too much to ask for a kiss, a simple touch of affection and yet I am expected to please him every night? To show him affection after he has a long day at work and comes home and does nothing. No thank you for supper, no talk about anything. Nothing.
This couldn't of happened at a more worse time. He does shit like this before Christmas ruining everything I wanted to do, holiday trips, enjoying time together by the fire, Christmas movies. He can only think of himself and his wants. He is depressed and yet never gets help for any of this. I mean I can only do so much but what do you do when trying to talk to your husband is like talking to a brick wall? It is useless. And that leaves me and Amber where? I am not going back to my Mom's. I will *try* to find a small apartment for us. God help us get through this all. I need so much strength. And Amber will too. My poor little girl gets her heart broke again too. She saw how sad I was yesterday. Going around the house blaming myself and crying and cleaning. I was a mad woman yesterday. Today I am solemn. Grieving for my 11 years of marriage that my husband tells me that wasn't very happy. This makes me feel miserable.
Thanks for listening to me, this truly helped me alot by getting just this much out.

Okay I am here if any of my blogger buddies are wondering. Things are slowly getting better between Lynn and I. All I have to say is it will take time. Plus my hormones lately don't help either. You see I go in out of bad and good moods all month long. My period never knows when it wants to show up so it plays on my emotions and moods. I hate it. Maybe it is time for a hysterectomy. Eeek. I really think I am going through early menopause, seriously. Anyone want to give that a thought?

I had a good weekend with my family. Lynn and I went to the mall on Friday night, got Amber one of her big presents. We also go the carry case and the Ninten dogs games to go with it. Might get her another too. And of course we got it in pink. She will be shocked. I want to buy her a student desk and few odds and ends. So she is halfway completed. I also did some Christmas shopping at the book fair here at work plus got my Mom a book and some candles for her birthday on Friday the 13th. Woo spooky. :) Hope she likes them.

I don't know about Lynn..

we are having some marital problems once again that I won't go into detail here. But I am very depressed at the way things are going and it kills me. If it wasn't for Amber I would probably be having a mental breakdown. I try to stay strong for her and for myself. I just feel like he doesn't love me anymore that I am not who or what he wants anymore. When he gets off work he goes to see his friends and doesn't have much time for *us* anymore. We never do any family things together anymore. In fact Amber asked me the other day why isn't Daddy home more often? I just tell her he is working alot. Which he is but then soon after he will spend time with his friends instead of coming home. Do we really deserve this? My mind is wandering aimlessly today and the tears are puddles in my eyes. Good thing I only work until 12:30 today or I would be a mess. So please everyone say a prayer. Say a prayer for me and Amber. Love to you all.

Fall is upon us!

Happy October everyone! I hope you are having a great Monday so far. I have been a busy chick and I have lots more in store also.

I have been participating in a few swaps with some friends. I just sent out my swap for the Red and Turqoise swap and I recieved mine last week. My partner sent the lovelies of items. Sure wished I had a digi cam..boo..hiss. She made me a lovely quilted handbag, sent red buttons, blue and red m&m minis, red and blue pencils, red wax lips (too funny!), lots of fabric scraps, and a bunch more. The next swap I am in is the Halloween Goodie swap . And I am excited about this, I believe it is more or less Halloween candy. And last but not least I am in a Purple and Orange swap. Lots of fun ideas running around in my head on this one. I love xpx because so many of them are crafty with paper and I LOVE paper.

I am thinking of making some Halloween cards but not sure if I will get time or not. We are starting up our Girl Scout Troop soon. And yours truly is a Co-Leader this year. Woop! So I am busy trying to do some planner pages, anyone know of a good site to build planner pages or has forms that I can customize that doesn't cost anything? Mucho Gracias to anyone who can help me.

This weekend was busy with going to my Grandmother's with my Mom and Amber. We had a good time despite my feelings about them and theirs toward us. Then Saturday night Amber's friend Freddie spent the night so his Aunt could work. And then on Sunday we went to Stevie B's for one of Freddie's friends party. It was pretty good fun. And yummy baked potato pizza. Yum.

This weekend we have a family reunion (I think..lol) so we will be busy bees once again. Happy Monday everyone!

Almost quitting time..

oh yeah! :D I am looking forward to a restful weekend. I am feeling pretty lousy lately. I think stress has gotten the best of me and I might be coming down with a cold. Blech. I will be resting this weekend but also have a few plans too.

Saturday- go through *gift closet* and make my Christmas list for family/friends, make a few Halloween cards, address Christmas cards (yes I am nuts..lol), mop, laundry, tidy up

Sunday- my nephew's birthday party at 1pm, finishing up Amber's Navajo indian model

So that is my weekend. Lynn has been working alot of overtime to help us get caught up with bills and also start on Christmas shopping soon. I just have to get a start on it then I will feel better.

Lynn and I had a great anniversary over the weekend. Our anniversary was September 9th. We celebrated out with some friends, and went to a concert on Friday night. Got home way too early or late..lol 3am.

Saturday: We went to the movies and saw "The Covenant" and loved it, also checked out this new Halloween store they opened up and we will definitely be back there soon, went to Michael's and spent $60! Easy money. I love their $1 bins, and I got quite a few things for .50 too. We ate at AppleBees for lunch, I had the fried chicken salad, yummy. Saturday night we had steak and taters. Lynn did a great job with the filets, he makes the best steaks. He even wrapped our filets with bacon this time. So good!

Sunday: Felt kind of off but did some housework, and watched movies. Picked up Amber from Nanny's. She was there ALL weekend, I missed her. But she had her cousins over there to play with. She never gets to see them anymore ::long story::

Monday: Took Amber to the doctor, she has strep throat. My poor baby. :*( So I couldn't go back to work since Lynn was at work that day. So we slept most of the day. I still felt pretty off too.

Tuesday morning around 1am, got up throwing up and with diarrhea. Didn't sleep all night. Called into work. Slept all day once I stopped heaving. Ugh. I hate being sick. :( I was pitiful, Lynn took off work. He helped me with trying to keep me hydrated. I drank so much Ginger Ale, ate crackers and finally ate some chicken noodle soup. And I think it was the best soup I have ever had.

Now I am at work updating my blog and about to tackle the thousands of charts I have accumulated here in my office. Ack. And it is rainy too so it feels like a sleepy day. I hope you all have a great Hump Day!

Almost the weekend

Oh how I love the weekends :) That is what I seem to live for. This weekend is especially special for me and Lynn. It is our wedding anniversary on Saturday!! We have been married 11 years! I cherish each and every one with my honey. He is such a wonderful husband. We are hoping to go to the Bodies: The Exhibition on Saturday. I am such a geek like that. ;) It will be surely amazing I am sure. I love learning more about the human body.

Tomorrow Lynn will be taking Amber to the doctor, she has been having small bowel issues and also still having headaches and above all she is getting a cold. Poor baby. :( And Lynn is really sick too. My allergies are just acting up real bad so I am hoping I don't get the yuck too.

I am SO ready for Fall! I put out my Fall wreath I made a last year with orange, red and yellow leaves and sunflowers. I *love* sunflowers. I will buy some mums soon to put out on my front porch and maybe do something around my mailbox. I bought some yummy pumpkin spice candles at Michael's this weekend. Maybe I will have a little extra money and hit up the $1 bins again. I found some neat stuff but didn't have alot of cash on me, but some things were .25 and .50 too. I also want to start a layaway for u-know-who this weekend so I will be ready for Christmas. I have the wishlist and I am ready to shop. LOL.

So that is what has been going on, just busy with life and work.

Concert, weekend plans, and work

Lynn went to the Rob Zombie concert with a good buddy last night. They opened up for Godsmack. He has the best luck with going with friends for free to concerts. My weekend will hopefully be restful and relaxing. I don't have anything planned for Labor Day so it should be a long three day weekend. I am ready for it. Lately on the weekends they have been fun filled running around weekends. :) So I am ready for relaxation. Ahh..my bed is calling me now. I have some good news about Lynn's job. He is going to start on day shift starting tomorrow. He is so happy and me too as I miss him terriblely at night. So hopefully I can start sleeping better soon. Savannah and Tybee Island

Just wanted to share some pictures with you all of us at Savannh and Tybee Island Beach. The one of me and Amber is at the beach and the one of Lynn and Amber is right on River Street in Savannah. We had a ball there and I got a great tan. Now I need to work on losing weight. Seeing this picture made me realize just how big I have become :( I hate pics.

feel like you are an outsider looking through a glass window on your family and life? I have been rather down lately so I think it is time to go and see my doc about changing my meds. I don't worry too much but I just have been feeling *off* but we have alot going on with our jobs. Alot bad and some good. But all in all things will be fine. So I am not sure when I will be posting again...but wanted to let my readers know that I am O-K.

We had a *fantastic* time in Savannah/Tybee Island. We went down on Saturday afternoon, after Lynn's SRT training. I drove most of the way as he was extremely tired from the training and working the night before. It was a good drive and only took about 3 1/2 hours. Quite a bit of rain on the way down but nothing too unbearable. We went on River Street and checked out the many shops they had and also the River Market. That was fun with different kinds of things from different cultures. My favorite spot and Amber's was The Savannah Candy Shoppe. Yum. I got some kind of gophers (I think it is called) and we all shared in the yumminess. We went on a boat tour, The Dolphin Magic. It was pretty fun. We saw about four dolphins. The ride was also very historical with our guide telling us about the 1800's and how the dredging was of the river to make room for the boats/ships to come inland. We went down Savannah River and then out into the Atlantic Ocean. That was nice.

On Monday we spent most of the day at Tybee Island and just hung out at the beautiful beach. We did alot of *wave jumping* and I got my tan on. LOL. Actually I got burnt a bit but it should all turn brown by the end of the week. We ate at alot of great places and had a great time. Swam at our hotel's pool, site seeing, walking and just overall enjoy being together and not thinking about anything else.

And then today it is back to the grind at work, Amber is at school (hopefully not in too much pain) and Lynn goes back to work tonight. I need to grocery shop, cook and all that normal routine stuff. I really did dread coming back, but next time we plan on staying longer. :)

well I haven't seen them in person yet *smile* but I know they are gorgeous just by looking at them. I have customed ordered again from Sarah. She makes such beautiful stuff. Take a looksie. I am just so excited to receive them! I hope she does start to sell her stuff, then I know I wil be broke. Ha!

and my plans for the weekend are...

NOTHING! ha! :)

I have been on cloud nine this whole week. We have decided to take a mini vacation to Savannah and Tybee Island. We are so excited! Especially Amber. Amber hasn't been to the beach in six years. We will leave out next Friday and be back sometime Sunday. Lynn hasn't been off in a long time so he needs this really bad. He has been working every day. My poor hubby. We will tour the lighthouse, hopefully go and see Juliette Low's home, do the Ghosts of Savannah Tour, River Street window shopping and eat at Paula Deen's "Lady and Sons" resturant. Yum. And spend lots of of time at Tybee Island on the beach. Savannah is mainly historical. So we love that. Just hopefully nice and quiet.

My week has been tough, I found out today someone hacked into my checking account via my debit/credit card and charged $69! I was majorly pissed off when I got to the bank. Some package is coming that is termite samples. So when I get it I am to send it back to get reimbursted for the amount. I just hope they will reimburst me. :( I guess I should get something in writing. But my bank filed an incident report and in 10 days if I have any overdraft charges they will refund them to me. Ugh. Can you say bad timing since we are leaving for Savannah next weekend and all of this mess to happen to us now. I am so uspet. :*( But I know it will be okay. I just can't believe someone has hacked into my account. I guess I need to stay off Ebay and other scrap book sites using my papal account.

My weekend was o-kay. :) Can't complain, just laid around the house dreaming about this that came in the mail, teasing me. Oh how I love Ikea. I have my booked all filled with sticky notes with things I *really* want (need!).

Amber's first day at school was great. She came off the bus all excited on Friday and said "Mama I made 6 new friends!". She was so happy as I was too. She told me her teacher even lets them chew gum quietly in the class. Now that is a good teacher..haha. :) Hopefully today will be good for her as well. She should start in her Qwest class this week, this is a gifted program in case you were wondering. She has been in the program for three years now. She is almost too smart for her own good.

7/28 School starts, take Amber on her first day :)

Today was a mad house at the middle school I went to register her. I said it feels like I am buying a house with all the paper work I had. I feel alot of it I could of filled out on open house day for the school. I mean I was only transferring Amber to a new school. But they had cops there directing traffic. One of the teachers said they had a 2-3 hour long wait yesterday. :O

But that ugly part is over and done. And now we can enjoy open house tomorrow. I am getting off work at 12pm. Amber and I will enjoy the day. Wish us luck that Amber gets a nice teacher, but strict enough and not one of those teachers who hate working. They totally put a bad name on teachers.

What a crazy start of a week!

Monday morning my blog seemed to hyjacked or something. So I had to fix that, funny it got fixed when I changed my password and did the small testing post. Around 2 pm my Mom called me at work and said she fell at work. I freaked out and said wahh?! I was mad because she didn't call me this morning to come and get her from the ER. She called to ask me to get her pain medicine filled. So I got off work at 3pm. Well Lynn calls and tells me I need to meet Clearey(pest control) at the house. Ugh. So I had to call Mom back and tell her I would be there as soon as I was done with this. I get to Mom's finally at 4:30pm. We talk a while and then it starts pouring. So I am basically stuck over for there for an hour more. Got her meds, brought them to her. Off to Walmart to meet Lynn, put in his prescription and wait 15 mins. I go and see if it is ready and no I wait 30 minutes more..ack! So by the time I pick up Amber from my inlaws it is now 7pm and they are fussing because they were hungry. I picked up bbq on the way home btw. So I am extremely tired and run down today still. I went to bed last night as soon as I ate. So I was in bed at 8pm and up at 5am. Hopefully tonight will be a better evening as I have alot of laundry to do..eww.

This week I have to register Amber for school too, and she has open house on Thurs and then school starts Friday. Wish me luck. And all the while I am pmsing, really bad. My periods are all screwy still and they make me very hormonal. Just wished I would have a period each month and on time. I am now without a period for over a month and a half but I have the pms symptons for over a month now. Not fun. :( Plus it aggravates Lynn. Wish me luck in not killing him. LOL.

So just say a prayer for my crazy self. I need it. And lots of hugs too :0)

Well not too bad but still I am po'd. LOL. Amber got her uniforms in the mail today. And I asked her to try them on (since I am at work). She says Mom the shirts fit but um the pants/skort are W-A-Y too big for me. I am like what the??!! These things took over a week to be mailed to me and here it is almost time for school. They start a week from tomorrow. I am just a bit frustrated. Yes I can return them and exchange them but now I have to find some pants for her. Obviously my Grandma didn't measure her right in the waist. So here I am back at square one. Wish me strength in searching for some uniforms. I think I may take her to Target this weekend and hope it isn't too crowded there. It is just hard to find uniforms this time of the year. And especially for Amber.

I can't believe how fast this weekend has flown by. It is good but then again I still have bunches to do at work. But I don't sweat it too bad. Just living for the weekend. :) I think I may get in the pool this afternoon after work. It is so hot here in the south. I am sure it will climb over a 100 today. Too hot for me.

A new me

Many have asked why change well I wanted something different, and I love this layout. I want to be able to speak my mind freely and without judgement too. If I want to whine I shall whine. LOL. Alot of my coworkers and family had found my blog so I decided to make a new one. I am still working on it so please bare with my mess but aren't the colors so awesome! I love em! :)

My week has been pretty busy so far. Alot of paper to push at work this week especially since I just did the mid month count on yesterday. Alot of the docs came in and signed so I will be keeping busy.

We are all doing pretty good at home. Lynn though has had some back trouble. Say a prayer for him as he goes back to the doctor on tomorrow. His xray report says he has rotosclerosis so we aren't too sure about that. Wish him luck. He has some good muscle relaxers and pain meds to help him. :) Men are such babies sometimes. hehe.

Amber is great, she is SOOO ready for school to start back. She wants to meet her new teacher and make new friendships. I think she is a little anxious about it too. But I know she will be fine. Just gotta finish up shopping for her next week. She just needs a few more uniform pieces, new shoes (white only) and a back pack and then she is off to school. My baby is going to be a 4th grader :( where does the time go?!

This week I am trying to work on a few cards for friends and also working on a few layouts of Amber's birthday. I still have some film in my camera to use up so I will do that next week. Gotta take some pictures of my little girl in her uniform on her first day of school. :) I am such a goofy mom. LOL.
